"Kitchen Cravings" restaurant
I went to Kitchen Cravings restaurant at 15 Airport Rd, Gilford, NH, for lunch and it was delicious. They are in the south entrance to the Laconia Airport off Rt 11. The interior is loaded with framed pictures and memoribilia of the Lakes region, plus artifacts all over the place.
The food was great, it actually tasted as good as it looked. Now, I don't want anybody to confuse this place with the Woodshed, or Garwoods, but for breakfast and lunch (I don't know about supper) you can't go wrong. Try it out, for a few bucks you can't really go wrong. (Oh, yes, the disclaimer: I have NO relationship with this place.) |

No supper, they close at 2PM.
Otherwise as you say, delicious. Always crowded on weekend mornings, great breakfast. |

We tried it again.
We had problems with them when they first opened. Messed up order and never even said they were sorry or offered to recuce price.
We went to breakfast last Friday with no problems. However I still think they are very expensive when it comes to breakfast. I like a quick in out $3.50 to $6 breakfast while they are around $10 for most selections. But I'm the same with lunch which is why I love subways $5 footlong. I can't believe how much people are willing to pay now for the meal combo's at BK and MacDonalds. |

Belmont, for a quick and cheap breakfast, have you tried the Lakeside, up the street in second Waldo Peppers building. Simple, good food, dirt cheap.

Yes
Also used to go to Paugus Dinner but have not been since it was sold. Also another good one is down next too the mini golf by the Winnisquam bridge but I'm not sure of the name.
As mentioned the food was good this past time but nothing to brag about, I just think for a breakfast it is a bit expensive. |

Yup that's the place
Hope all is well Mike. I almost stopped in last night after I was done estimating a house on Lower Bay Rd.

back to" Cravings"...
We go there when we are in Laconia for lunch, always delicious, homemade food. Their soups are great. And the place is clean, always a priority. Worth seeking it out, on the access road to the airport.

And if you like winnipesaukee.com, you're going to love the walls in this place.

R-Guy...you piqued my interest....
When in the area at breakfast time, often in conjunction with a trip to the Vets, I usually stop at the Paugus Diner (now the Union Diner) but decided to give this place a try. First off, the ephemera on the walls is fantastic...some stuff I've never seen before. The plants were real too (not plastic) and someone even remembers to water them so they weren't all dead and gross looking. The hash was home-made - NOT the canned stuff that most places serve, so I was impressed with that. And the litmus test for a restuarant...the bathrooms. They were very clean and even decorated with a theme. Menu was very interesting. I'll go back!
PS - They have several picnic tables outside if you happen to have a dog with you and want to eat outside! Some interesting old photos of the Lakeshore RR on this wall decor in the bathroom!!

mcdude!!!
Thanks for the pics.
But where are the pics of the food????? I'm sad to say I've never been there (although I've driven by it a million times). Looks like another place I'll have to try this summer (Pop's is the other one). Thanks again!!!

The best place in town for breakfast
This place is by far the best in town for breakfast. We have been dinning there since it first opened and saw the walls fill up with pictures and other Winnipesaukee memorabilia. The food and service is always great. Our favorites include the omelettes and French toast with real maple syrup.

Just thought I'd bump thread...
Went to Kitchen Cravings for lunch. A long ride for us but we have been there several times this season. Very extensive menu. My wife had pancake breakfast and I had the lobster roll. All was very good and the service was pleasant. Just a reminder if you happen to be in the area (near the airport). And you can see the sign on Route 11 if you look for it.

I'd love to try this place since we drive by it every time we come up to the lake but I don't know if their parking lot can handle my truck/trailer combo, it's an F250 with a 31' trailer.
Any one know if there's room to maneuver a rig the size of mine in their parking lot?
