has anyone else noticed these dozen or so neon green painted rocks(rocks 1ft in diameter to 15 ft) on long island beach in Moultonborough?..I first noticed them in the spring and my first reaction was.."0h isn't that ashame some high school vandals got a hold of a six pack and a can of spray paint."....I had the chance to ask one of the lifeguards yesterday what happenend and he informed me that this was done by the town/lifeguards to prevent people from tripping over rocks.....I would be curious to hear the reactions of anyone who has seen this...I am all for providing a safe swimming area for all (perhaps for those with visual impairments or others with disabilities). However, it seems inconstent with the tranquil Winni landscape to start spray painting all rocks on public property

We noticed the rocks as well. We thought it was a tad strange but I don't think they are all that noticable, atleast it is just a ring around the bottom and not the entire rock.
