Champion 4.2 ?
'Curious about the outboard. Was it a single piston/spark plug?
It resembles a Champion 4.2—made in the 1940s. |

Bow Numbers
Bow numbers were never used in the registration of inland boats until the late 80's. This boat was scuttled, based on the rocks on the floorboards. Scuttled boats usually have the bow and HIN numbers removed. If the bow and or HIN numbers are intact, then the boat may have been stolen.

I found no bow numbers; As to the OB it was too badly encrusted to see anything useful about it. The profile it presented however matches the photo posted by a viewer.
