Default Boat hauling

I was wondering if anyone had an idea what I might expect to pay to have a 26' boat with a 10' beam moved from Nashua, NH to Meredith. Any recommendations on who to hire to do that?

Thanks,
Eric

Do you have a road-worthy trailer?

Exclamation

brk-Int: Though I've towed a 10-foot-wide boat (solo) on the Interstate in blissful ignorance of the law, I think the "10-foot-wide part" is the problem.

Anything on a trailer that is wider than 8'6" requires a wide load permit from the state police. Forget what the height limit is.....maybe 13'?

Default Miles Marine 603-527-1887

For anything over 8.5 ft. you need to get Wide Load Permits. You need signs on the front and rear but do not need chase cars. We have used Miles Marine out of Gilford before and they are excellent and very nice people. Not sure what they would charge but if you give them a call I think you will be happy with them. 603-527-1887.

Thumbs up Thanks!

Thank you to everyone for the information, I can now do some competitive shopping and yes I was aware of the width issue so that was my primary concern. I don't have a trailer for this boat either.

Yes, Miles Marine is excellent. Laconia Transport went out of business a couple of years ago. Miles Marine does do alot of long haul but they also do short hops, I have used them for years. Remember the picture in the paper a couple of years ago about that HUGE boat that came from the coast? That was them. Call them

I think we have had this discussion before, but I agree, they are great at Miles Marine! Every year they brought our boat from Laconia to our side of the lake until we decided to just store it at Irwin's.
