Are you buying seasoned firewood? 6 months isn’t long enough to dry it properly for use. Either way that’s a good price for a cord. Much more expensive here in Eastern Mass and availability is a problem. Believe it or not the pandemic has contributed to that. Most dealers sold out early

Seasoned wood. Yes, Ma is much more money.

Default 2 Pellet Stoves for sale...

...I actually have two pellet stoves that I would like to sell. One is an insert for a fireplace and one is a free-standing unit. They were both in the house here in Bedford that we bought last year. They are both Enviro Empress brand, which is allegedly very good. If anyone has any interest, let me know. Thanks.

Agree with those above, switching from pellet to wood makes little if any sense. Too costly for stove & pipe, lot more work and more mess. Pellet stove will burn all day if you fill it in the morning and leave.
