I would respectfully, argue that point...the screws through the metal, even though "hidden" are still going to expand and contract...the difference is that they are not exposed to the elements so therefore do not allow water through their elongated holes. Maybe that's what you meant...all good!

I have a few screws loose and I'm expanding & contracting, but mostly expanding!
