I don't think you can easily sex a bald eagle. Are you sure this is a "he"?

I wasn't implying if the eagle was a he or she. I have no idea.

a boat/ship either. But most would say "she's a beautiful vessel" if they saw one that struck them as being nice.

It is much easier to tell the gender of eagles when they are together. The female is about 30% larger than the male. There are other telltale methods by looking closely at the hooding of the eyes, but more difficult to discern.

I can however confirm that the forums own member The Eagle is a male.
