Default Talking with a Business owner

He mentioned something about his insurance company will not cover liability or casualty if people that are not on the payroll and are not customers. So that means volunteering in a commercial kitchen may not happen? Somebody should tell our lawmakers that enough is enough!

help me with this . What does a lack of insurance coverage have to do with our Lawmakers ? Im sure they could get the coverage, it's risk based and insuring non professionals around a kitchen would be a big risk so it would and should be real expensive. Or they could wing it and get sued when one of the volunteers cuts off his fingers. but again what do the lawmakers have to do with it ?

Default Litigation laws

The lawmakers are the ones that pass laws that allow everyone to sue whenever they like. So I blame the politicians, unless you know who to blame.

If Obama pushed for tort reform a lot of unnecessary lawsuits would go away especially as they relate to medical malpractice. He promised he would tackle this but he has been busy ruining the economy.

McDude:

I believe my comment was appropriate. Tort reform was promised and not delivered. The cost of insurance and malpractice suits continue to escalate. And by the way, I'm not the only one who feels he is doing a lousy job. Please check President Obama's approval ratings They are dropping rapidly.

That being said, I'm sure a rebound is in the offing as he and his cronies are trying to be productive by pressuring the Redskins to change their "offensive" team name. Now that is certainly a productive use of time.

Merry Christmas
