Minimum age for tubing
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I can't seem to find anything on it.
I was just curious as to what the minimum age is to pull someone on a tube. I know you need a spotter 13 years or older and it can't be the driver, but I don't know how old you have to be to be on the tube itself. Thought of this yesterday as I was pulling my son around in our pool on his boogie board. |

cillovely --
I have never heard (or read) of ANY minimum age limit !! You've got it right with the "Spotter" age and as far as "a little one" on a tube -- just be cognizant of where you tube !

Thanks I thought I was missing something. And I'm not planning on it this year, still a bit young (5, but a big 5 people think he's 7), but in the next year or two it will probalby come about. He's too much of a daredevil to see someone doing it and not want to do it himself.

Don't give the law makers any ideas. Next thing we will have a set of tubing laws with a registration sticker on the tube!

Hmmmm....I may re-think it now. We don't have a tube or line at the moment, but I may take the Bass Pro gift cards we have and venture out there before we head up in 11 days!! |

Good question. First time in my twenties. I'm still looking for my swim suit! Last time too.

You bring new meaning to the captain yelling to the spotter "is he out?, is he out?"
