A special thanks to the guys out there who really make it happen, on the front line, special forces, those that take the exceptional risks to keep us all safe.

Consider supporting our wounded heroes through the wounded warrior project and the USO.

Thanks to all the vets that did serve and were fortunate to come back in one piece.

I being a Navy vet would like to say to all the businesses that offered specials to the veterans a BIG THANK YOU for all your offerings to us vets. I partook in 2 different specials and gave my strong handshake thank you to the owners/managers for what they have done for all us veterans.

SO: How did you Prove you were a veteran if you were a veteran over 40 years ago. NO ID Card. Did you need to show your DD-214..?? For most of you who have not served..that is your Discharge Papers. NB

YEP, resized it so it fits in the wallet and I also have my old dog tags on my key chain. It was 48 years ago for me and I did get a Honorable Discharged laminated card, but has long found a new home that I do not know about.

Get a military proof of service card.
