Wow. I am now wondering if part of the reason that the Webmaster started this site was for the photography and making a record of the happenings at the lake with the help of other photographers. I know I saw a post about the counting in the millions for photos and the emphasis on the information that should be given with each photo. Great idea to have a record of all of these happenings!! Thank you all very much.

I did not know that it was a public cruise and thought one had to have an invitation to take it. Was it open to the public or did everyone have to have an invitation and it was just being called a public cruise? The pictures are almost the same as being there though I took the Mount last year and it is really special. I guess the pictures were not really the same... but almost. They are great though!

I'm sure that sharing pictures of this great lake was one of the many reasons why Winnipesaukee.com was started.

Did you know that this year will be the 15th Anniversary of Winnipesaukee.com? Congratulation Don! The site sure has evolved nicely over the years.

The Shakedown Cruise is not open to the public. It is by invitation only.

This Sunday is their historic first public cruise for Mother's Day.

The menu looks pretty great and you know the scenery can't be beat! What mom wouldn't want to take a cruise with her family?

Check out Mount Washington Cruises Mother's Day photo album here.

I see on that page there is a dropdown to select Wheelchair yes/no. Does this mean that those that can't "walk the plank" can also enjoy the buffet and cruise? That would make it real special for mobility challenged family members.
