I saw that Lakesrider posted a nice picture of one and somebody here correctly I.D'd it as a Black and Yellow Argiope. They are also known commonly as a Golden Orb Weaver. They are known for spinning very intricate and beautiful webs. I spotted this one today here in Laconia. Taken with a Canon 7D and 70-200 f4.0L
