Need recommendation - HVAC contractor
Hi, all...
I'm looking for a reputable, reasonable local contractor to fix a problem with our hydro-air heating system. Our system has a boiler which provides hot water baseboard heat to the lower level and first floor. But it also sends hot water up into a small attic crawl space, into an air handler (heat exchanger). Out of this comes a bunch of ductwork, dampers, etc. that provide hot air heat to the second floor via two separate zones. The problem is somewhere up in the attic, since raising the thermostat setting on either of the two zones that are served by hot air does not result in a call for heat reaching the boiler. So I need someone who is familiar with these systems and their controls and wiring, and doesn't mind climbing up through an ceiling hatch and worming their way around a very tight workspace. We're at the end of Moultonboro Neck. Anyone come to mind? Thanks in advance! |
