Anyone know or recommend a place in the area that can convert old 35mm slides to a digital format? I have a bunch of old slides I would like converted. Also do you know the approximate cost?
Thanks! Dan

You could contact one of the 3 listed photographers located in Laconia.
They may or may not have the machine/scanner to do such. Then there are multiple retail electronics that are dedicated to convert film/slides to digital. Here is just one of many. LINK You could contact the Geek Squad at Best Buy. They may or may not have a suggestion for you. |

We used Beacon Digital in Dover NH to convert several hours of Hi 8 movies to digital format. Owned by Becky Ball. Very good results. Shipped the tapes to her and she sent them back along with the digital files. http://www.beacondigitalvideo.com/ |

Dan, I used this gentleman some years back for a school project, and he was awesome to work with—he also has prices listed here, so you can get an idea of what you're looking at.
A second benefit is hitting up Tuckaway Tavern at the same time! Goodheart Media Services (603) 206-4364 https://g.co/kgs/YuUMfy Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk |

There are a number of slide/film adapters that attach to a a dslr camera that will allow you to convert them to digital yourself. Prices range from $40 and up, so choose one that fits your budget. If you don't own a dslr camera, you may be able to borrow one and have some fun converting them yourself. Shoot against a cloudy/bright sky. That's how I did it.

This past spring I used this NE firm to digitize many years of family memories on 35 MM slides. I was very happy with the results.
You can mail your media to them. They also have some drop-off/pick-up points in NH. I used the one in Portsmouth. https://everpresent.com/ |

I used Goodheart recently to convert some VHS tapes to digital on a thumb drive. Quick turnaround and reasonable prices.

A couple years ago I took two full reels of slides to Walmart (Amherst). The price then was $0.29/slide. They loaded everything onto a cd.
