Appraiser needed

Does anyone know of a reputable appraiser in the Meredith area? I need an appraisal done of our cottage. My parents were part owners and the lawyer is requesting that an appraisal be done.

I would put a call into Frank Michel in Meredith. His firm exclusively performs property closings for many local banks. I am sure they can give you a reference, they are very nice people.

Is there any such thing as an "average" appraisal/appraisal of an average property- a guideline sort of thing?
