Can't open Oil Fill on JetSki need Help!!
Hi Guys,
Need your help!! I have a 1998 Tigershark 640xl. The fill cap is under the front storage cover right behind the mirror. The is a little tab in the middle of it and the tab pulls out. Now I do not know what I am supposed to do Do I try to turn it? tried very hard will not spin Do I try pulling it out? Tried very hard will not pull out Ok so what is the correct way to take this cap off and how do I do it if it is stuck? Thank you much, need to know right away so the fam can enjoy the jetski for the rest of the weekend, Had it filled before we bought it, I know it opens. Thanks!!!

I don't know the answer to your question, as I own a Sea Doo, which simply unscrews. However, Tigershark was made by Arctic Cat I believe. You might want to give HK Powersports in Tilton a call, I believe that they sell Arctic cat snowmobiles, and may have sold the Tigersharks back in the day.

My hunch is to depress the tab, and unscrew the cap at the same time. Tab is like a safety to keep cap from vibrating open. (???)
