I have a question for folks who have rented their summer places to vacationers that have left it dirty and caused minor damage.
The condition of the summer home wasn't horrible, but it is costing me more money to my cleaning woman and there was some minor damage done that I will have to replace so I am planning to deduct those additional costs from their security deposit. Is there a NH law governing security deposits held on vacation homes? I know that "Chapter 540: Action against tenants" deals with residential property but it seems to specifically exempt property rented for vacation and recreational use. Does anyone know what RSA or Chapter I should be looking for? Thanks |
