Hi All,
I teach a media course at my high school, and I'm thinking of adding a drone to our collection of gear. Please provide suggestions, keeping easy flying/durability/price as main considerations. This would mostly be used in Massachusetts, so any info needed for that is also welcome. Thanks! Sent from my XT1528 using Tapatalk |

The FAA has enacted new rules for UAS (drone) operation as of August 29th.
UAS operation under 0.55 pounds is very lightly regulated, but over that weight there are registration and certification requirements. The rules involving commercial operation are extensive. Your students would not be using the drone commercially but being a paid instructor you may fall under commercial rules. I recommend you check it out. |
