Since the Railroad put an end to using the tracks of Corridor 22 in the Wakefield- Ossipee area, I was wondering if there are any plans in the works from the local clubs to find a re-route? It would just be a shame to have to trailer around that short 1/4 to 1/2 mile stretch of track that is unusable now to continue north or south, just so the RR can store some idle cars there. Residing south of that section really limits our options of riding, especially since we also have to depend on the lakes being frozen for many of our trails.

I've heard that the land owner in that area is also very anti snowmobile. This is going to be an interesting situation to watch. I'm not directly impacted by this, but if I decide to ride north from home it means I have to change my route if I go from Bear Brook.

Bear Brook is in Pembroke and I live about 5 minutes from there. The primary north/south trail is corridor 15, which runs around the west side of the lake. For me to go north on the east side of the lake I run through Pittsfield and take a bunch of club trails. Looking at the state map it might be possible to pick up corridor 19 near Wakefield, but I have heard there is a landowner issue in Gorham as well.
