Wondering if anyone has seen evidence of a bear on Long Island this month.

The reason I asked is that we have seen evidence near our home on L I
Grill cover torn to shreds, flowers laying down as if they've been sat on, scat in the yard, etc. |

There are lots of bears in Moultonboro Grammy, I'm sure they have made there way to LI. Bring in your bird feeders and trash cans.

They were there last year..no reason they wouldn't be this year. There was even a transient moose here a number of years ago.
