Default Winni.com Personals... THE POLL

Ok, I just couldn't help myself. I am really curious as to the single vs. married thing but with a twist...

And don't worry, your screen name won't pop up in the results.

Default Missing Poll Option

Coastal Laker , you forget one poll option. We have two boats. My wife has hers and we have ours. Therefore I have 1/2 a boat and she has 1 1/2 boats.
And you can guess from the name which one she has!

Default Cool idea

The tally should prove to be interesting. Thanks for putting this together Coastal Laker.

Default We Overlooked Something

I just realized something I missed in my proposed poll and something you missed in yours Coastal Laker.
We need to find the single, available people. Is another poll redundant?

Default Wanted

Wanted: Boat bunnies to enjoy summer day cruises and help me dock my boat. Enjoy the day and all you have to do is help me crew. Put out and retrieve the anchors and a fewe other easy chores. Other than that just sit around on the boat, look good and enjoy. BYOC (bring your own consumables)

I am happily married. I have a boat. My wife does not. She takes no part in boating. Maybe one of the reasons our marrage is happy . This puts me in the poll catagory of other .

Default Other as well

Yes, I'm "other" as well...divorced (aka "single") and sharing a family boat. One question...how could anyone NOT want to be involved in boating??

Because some of us don't see the need to spend that amount of money and add the noise and pollution that it comes with, when there are plenty of more enjoyable activities on the lake.

Sorry if I offended you! Personally, our boat only goes out maybe 8-10 times year. The rest of the time it's docked. We mostly go out in the Fall..boating to me is a relaxing thing, not holding on praying someone in a larger boat won't swamp you or run you over. I love listening to boats taking off, and running in the distance, especially at night. (NOT the cigarette boats, I hate the noise of them). I guess that's from growing up on the lake when there weren't an overload of boats as there is now. And boating doesn't always have to be with a motor...I enjoy kayaking and canoeing. I enjoy many things at the lake..and boating is just one of the many.

No, I didn't mean to give you the impression that you offended me, I was just answering the question. I feel like this forum is made up of mostly boaters, but there are a lot of people who enjoy the lake for other reasons, and for some of us, the boats are bothersome.

Arrow Laker guy seeking a Laker gal

I might as well use this forum to say "I'm available"!
The kids are grown up and on their own. So I usually boat by myself. I could use a mate. It can get pretty lonely out there.
Winter season, I do a lot of downhill skiing. You will find me with the "EICSL" crowd around Conway. Off season I bike, hike and kayak. I'm a party animal and always looking to party. I do like the romantic stuff like Jacuzzis, fireplaces, fine wine etc.
So if there are any Laker girls out there, please response.

Default Name change....

Hello BroadHopper - I respect the fact you're single, but if you want to stand a chance of getting a First Mate, you might consider changing your name from "BroadHopper!"
