Time for the parade in a magazine my wife picked up said 1:00 PM. Seems late to me, could it be a typo? As I recall, previous years it started at 10:00 AM.

You are right, it is usually at 10. But this year because it is on a Sunday, they are having it at one.

It is also the 250th year celebration so it is probably later to get more people into town to back up traffice even more...

It could be but I think it is because it is Sunday. When the Fourth falls on a Sunday they always move the time up. I think I remember one years when they didn't.
