Winni article in BoatUS Trailering
There is an interesting four page article in the Apr/May 2004 issue of BoatUS Trailering. Bizer and Winnipesaukee.com are just two of the sites mention. A nice two page photo spread really gets you itching for ice out.

BoatUS is also great for insurance. My regular company didn't want to insure us if we trailered the boat to Florida .BoatUS not only saved us money, but insures the boat in all inland lakes, rivers and all coastal waterways in the USA.

They also provide an interesting little magazine called "Seaworthy" to their insured. In the April 2004 edition, they provide the following list.
Collisions, Frequency of Loss: Racing Sail 19 per thousand Houseboats 8 per thousand Trawlers 7 per thousand Cruising Sail 7 per thousand Multihulls 6 per thousand Cruisers 5 per thousand Runabouts 3 per thousand Thought of this forum when I saw it. |
