Default Fireworks

It’s 9:48 at night and people feel it’s time to shoot off fireworks?

I didn’t call, but I just saw the moultonborough PD cruise down the road. Thank you.

Well either they said fu to the pd because it started up again, or they said shoot off what’s left. Either way it’s over. Thank gawd.

Really...???? Give it a rest !!! It was the ending for a beautiful wedding. All safety precautions were taken including a fireboat for safety and it was over by 10PM. Very professional display...not by amateurs.

Other than the legality of fireworks in general—Moultonborough doesn't allow them, right?—I don't think 9:48 on a summer weekend night is unreasonable at all. I would peg 11 as the line.

I was just turning-in, wondering where the noise was coming from.

It seemed like the noise was coming from the airport uphill from me. Some sounded like rifle fire, which are not unusual up there.

Then it occurred to me that this was national Jamaican Independence Day!

I heard that sound of rifle fire at about that time. It made my dog bark.
