There are a lot of them out there but we have yet to find one that works.
Has anyone found one that works and kills the nest? We have had those tinny little buggers in our kitchen for years, cleaning the counter with Clorox cleaner helps but they still hang out. Seems the ones we have been getting at Lowes do nothing.

I get them every year around this time. This year, as a first, I tried the Terro liquid baits. Set them up last week. When I returned this past weekend didn't see 1 ant.

I use the Terro liquid drops and simply put a few drops on wax paper squares. Place the squares where ants roam and no more ants...anywhere!

Basically the same, boric acid in a thick sugar syrup.
Takes few days but it works. The workers take it back to feed the queen and operations soon shut down. |

I have been using Terro for 30 years or more and it always works. Got my last bottle at Trustworthy Hardware in Laconia a few years ago and am still using the same bottle. Lasts several years before drying up.

RG has been making her own Terro. We put weather proof containers on the deck, in and under the camp. Ants love it.

Thanks for all the replys, my wife is going to pick it up tomorrow at Trustworthy. Agways out of the question, I don't mind buying local but their prices are way out of my budget. I'll take Lowes or HD before I spend that much. I have a buddy that has chickens and he agree's and only buy's what he has to from them.

Ok we have seen maybe 8 or 10 tinny ants on the counter at one time.
My wife puts this stuff down just like I said on wax paper and within a short period she said there were over 100 ants streaming out of the woodwork devouring the liquid. She said there were so many that she had to put more drops down. I got home around 7 and there are still about 20 ants visible on the counter and the wall heading towards the range vent area. This morning not a live ant to be seen, thanks for the advice on this product. My wife has been spraying outside and inside all along the foundation for years and it has never worked like this stuff does.

Someone mentioned this last year here.
5LB of Borax 5LB of sugar Mix evenly. Then spread everywhere. For outside anyway. |
