Anyone have information about 'Wellcraft Sportsman 210'. Looks like a great fishing boat, but also could be a good family boat rigged out with appropriate seating. Looks like it could take most of what Winnie could throw at it !
Currently, looking at one with a Merc O/B. Does anyone own one of these or know anyone who does or had one? All information will be appreciated ! Bigdog |

Bigdog:
That would be a very good alround Winni boat. I'd power it with a 225 HP. Don't go light on HP. What would this rig cost new these days $50K? |

Bigdog, I don't personally know anything about the 210 Sportsman but I found this review on BoatTest.com. They tested it last October with a Yamaha 200hp 4-stroke.

The Wellcraft 210 and its twin the Aquasport 215 are both very nice dual console boats.
There is an Aqusport for sale down on Cape Cod. I know the broker and I am sure he would give you the straight story on the boat, ask for Dana. http://www.millwaymarina.com/showroom_item.php?id=328 I decided to stick with a center console for my next boat but I looked at a very nice new leftover '08 Seaswirl 2101 dual console this past summer over at Thurston's Marina. They also had a used '07, but I'm not sure if that one is still available. |

Compared to a typical bow rider, it will substantially better built, less cushy and heavier. It should also have a lot of fishing features and a bigger fuel tank. I don't have any experience with that particular boat, but I am familiar with the market it competes in and I am certain it will be well made and built to take most anything Winni could throw at it.
