Nothing like Texas BBQ..... My wife and I where recently discussing what we will miss most when we move away from here (Dallas Texas) back towards the Northeast.... Good Tex-Mex was number one.... But number two was the availability of good BBQ....
No I don't think Texans do anything that can't be replicated in the north...... it is just more common here, to slow cook and smoke....
