It was a brush fire with a bunch of leaves throwing a lot of black smoke on Barn Island.
At least that's what the scanner chat was. |

Just a slight correction: I believe it was actually Little Barndoor that brought out the Wolfeboro and Alton Fire Boats. The homeowner was burning leaves. They actually had a repeat again last evening.
Both nights the calls came in, at least in part, from Clark Road in Wolfeboro. Dave
