I saw this on YouTube, tried it, and it worked amazingly well.
To get heat to flow to outlying rooms, instead of placing a fan in the room with the woodstove and blowing hot air out of that room, place a fan in the farthest room and blow the air out of that room. I compared both methods. Blowing air away from the woodstove had minimal impact on the outlying room. Blowing air out of the outlying room drew warm air in within a few minutes. It also had the added benefit of reducing overheating near the woodstove. |
