Default Tuftonboro Fire!

Something big is going down up on Chandler road near 20mi bay. They had at least 3-4 fire trucks at 19mi bay clearing lines out and getting ready to fill up some tankers. The sheriffs dept was there for Traffic control. Local PD at the bottom of the chandler road, cars were parked on the side of the road. I assume they are not letting anyone up there. Hope everyone makes out okay. Tough time of the year to lose a house.

I heard the garage was destroyed and the house was pretty bad. Nobody was home. So sad for them.

.... hopefully, he has some strong homeowners insurance to cover the loss ..... http://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-v...-on-their-feet has now raised $68,672 of a $30,000 goal with 513 donations, so far.

With one single 2"x4"x8' lumber stud now costing $5.48, building a new house must be very expensive. One 2"x10"X12' fir lumber costs $25.52 at Lowe's plus the carpenters to build it and the local thrift store doesn't sell any super low-priced construction lumber.

Building a new house by using old foam swim noodles and 12-inch wood paint stir sticks will probably not be approved by your local building inspector!

Default Shocking discovery

We are stunned. The owner of the destroyed property in Tuftonboro is Sandwich’s police chief, and we sold them that property many years ago. What a shame! Thankfully, nobody was injured.

There are some threads that I wish you would refrain from responding too.
