Atlantic Broadband issues on Bear?

My cameras went out last week. At first I figured it was electricity however I was on island this weekend and my power is fine. I did a reboot of the system and no change, I have no connectivity. I had a refresh signal sent to no avail as well. Could be a modem issue which I can dig into next time I am up, but was curious if anyone else is out as well- which may indicate a line issue?

BearCam has said 'Internet Down' for a few weeks and gives an Atlantic Broadband reason as to why it is d-o-w-n!

Yep I lost my internet late Thursday last week, been out ever since. I did get in touch with ABB - they did not indicate there was any known line problems out here and are sending a tech out this Thursday to have a look. I have confirmed that it is definitely them as my router is not picking up an IP address from their side. I confirmed the same is true at my neighbor's as well.

If there is still power down on the island somewhere that could be the answer as the poles have signal repeaters on them that require power. There also could be a break in the line too. Will post a follow up when I know more. In the mean time I'm stuck working off a hotspot.

I set up a tech visit on Thursday as well. They just called back to inform me that there is a line problem and a tech crew is going out tomorrow morning to address this. They have arranged transport already and are handling it. Hopefully this will take care of it.
