Default Bizer Map Joke

This was for Bizer. On the 4th edition Bizer map on the very edge by Center Harbor it says (this will take your breath away) .I thought this must be a great view of the lake so I went looking when I found this place I found that it is a waste treatment plant and it just might take your breath away.
Bizer I am still laughing.

Default Bizer Jokes

Hi Sunset!
If you look all over the Bizer charts, you will find ALL kinds of jokes, which makes Bizer Maps fun to read. Look at some of the islands like Sleeper Island zzzzzzz, rOund Island, and Treasure $ Island. Also read (follow) some of the roads real close and you'll find a few more, like, "Elvis Meet me in Las Vegas," and some good one liners. Did you find "SarahBeth?" (Hint) Follow the road out of Wolfeboro Falls! Enjoy!

We got to meet SarahBeth at the ForumFest. I didn't see Elvis although you never know.

Just a reminder that you can get in on the fun and help support this site by ordering Bizer's informative and entertaining chart here.

I've ridden by that many times on my snowmobile, never took my breath away, never smelled bad either. Always wondered what it was, thanks Sunset

Wink Phew

I saw the pic on Photopost and knew it was something on Bizer's chart but there's no way I was going to find it w/o another clue. I did find something that's close to the topic though. Check out Tuftonboro near Farm I and see if you can sniff it out.

Are you referring to Belknap's "Lagoon"? That's related, and very close to Farm.

I've perused that map many times for the funny references, and the "take you breath away" item had always confused me...glad someone took the initiative to investigate. Good one!

One of my favorite finds on the 6th edition was the backward written"Elvis lives, just not here"which could be found where the cememtary is next to the Margate.

Elvis with an Eagles jersey would have been a dead giveaway

Default Phew!

Hay Guys and Gals,
Who knows what is near the Public Beach, at nineteenmile Bay and before Camp Belknap, where it says. PHEW!" Maybe, "Sunset" will go and check it out?
This forum has been quite lately..I had an idea, to generate talk! Let's see if we can find ALL BIZER's Jokes, and little "Trade Secrets" on his map. Now I know Bizer put HIS house and some of his close friends houses on the map, but never found any of them, Has anyone? What other little jokes and things pop out on his map? Maybe Bizer can tell us, when (if) we find them all..on the newsest edition!

Default ELVIS LIVES but not here

Here is my first contribution. Near the intersection of Union Ave and US-3, it says "ELVIS LIVES but not here" printed in mirror type. There is really a cemetery there.

I believe it to be "Belknap's lagoon", see Grant's post above. I don't know if it actually smells bad or not.

I was thinking the same thing How many jokes are there ? Who has found them all ?? What's the joke mean (I saw the Elvis joke but didn't know about the cemetary until this thread, good one ) ??? And finally (for a rainy day or the Winter-FrozenWinniWater-NoBoating Blues) what other jokes might we suggest appear on a future chart ? Perhaps if it's particularly clever Bizer might include it

Hey Eagle! Been wondering where you've been! I'm guessing you won't be looking for Bizer clues at the lake tomorrow night! (We'll let others try and figure out what that clue means!)

FWIW - Just noticed this weekend that the joke up by the intersection of NH-25 and NH-109 has changed from rev to rev of the chart. This is the only one that I've seen change.

Post Misquoted one liner

On Rte 28, "Time flies ... arrow ...", should say, "Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana." - Groucho Marx

Just a wealth of useless information.

Anyone know the story behind the mirror image of "This space for rent" ?
