I bought a new seat cover for my Seado jet ski. there are metal rivets securing the hand strap. has anyone had experience removing the rivet to remove strap so it can be reinstalled over new seat cover.

You can either drill it out or file the head off. If the strap is getting changed too, a hacksaw blade slid under the strap will cut the rivet also.
