Default Brew Crew on Chronicle

WMUR's Chronicle is doing a story on Monday's (1/27) edition about some ice fishermen who home brew beer on the ice in their bob house. How cool is that?!?! Cold clean air and the sweet smell of brewing beer, what could be better? Our lake is such a big part of the "New Hampshire experience" for so many tourists that it's great to see it being featured year round. Winter sports and activities have really taken off over the past 10 years or so and the lakes region is finally getting some press. Last week Chronicle ran last year's automotive "Ice Racing" edition again. Great story! If we can get down to Meredith, we'll stop in to the "Brew Crew" and check on the beer progress!!

Wave 'cuz I'll be wavin' (an empty beer pitcher) back

Well those boys and girls appeared to be having fun out there. As I recall, the fermentation takes several days. I assume that the bob/brew house has to be kept at 60 degrees or so all that time. Must take a good supply of fuel.

It made for a good Chronicle story, thanks for the post.
