the past couple of days of bright sun and wind have melted the snow cover on the ice in front of our webcam view... all the snowmobile tracks are gone, so thinking we are back to bare ice and it's rapidly turning darker gray... hopefully with the hours of daylight increasing, a trend to warmer weather, and a few rain-showers in the next few days... we'll be able to get out to the island with the "ice-breaker" (aka Alumacraft) in a couple of weeks...
