Here we go with another ocean storm. This time the exact track determines snow amounts for us. The general track will be from Cape Hatteras to Nova Scotia. Sometimes a few miles of error in the track does not produce much difference in the weather we get from a storm. This time around a few miles of difference will make a huge difference -- an "all or nothing" event. And right now the best we can do is go with a middle-of-the-road scenario which is most likely.
Regardless of track it will be generating a lot of wind around itself as it rapidly strengthens. Wind damage is possible around the lakes region tomorrow (Sunday) and the snowfall amounts are subject to change. |

That was an event! I live down past KONA. My yard looks like, who did it , and ran...A tree limb came crashing down on the roof (metal), and it sounded like a bomb went off. Looking outside last night didn't help much, because of how dark it is. To my surprise, the limbs weren't that big! Power flickered twice, and that was all. It's going to be one heck of a clean up, come spring
