Does anyone know the set-back requirements are for residential building on Cow Island (Tuftonboro)? Is it 20 feet on the sides, 25 feet from the back, and 50 feet from the water?

In addition to any town requirements, you probably have to conform to the restrictions in this state law: http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/l/483-b/483-b-9.htm
It allows building as close as 50 feet from the shore, but there are a lot of rules. Obviously you should have someone knowledgeable give you advice, if a lot of money is at stake. |
