Ho! Ho! Ho! Wolfeboro's beautiful annual Christmas Tree is being set up this morning (Monday 11/22) and you can watch it on the Wolfeboro Web Cam as it is decorated over the next few days.

after it is set up and lighted it makes a great wallpaper/background for your desktop for the Holidays. Wolfeboro's Christmas Parade is this Saturday.

Default Not much effort in decorating

This is my first winter as a local "non-voting" taxpayer. I saw the tree delivered last week and went by it tonight. I was very disappointed on how few lights and/or decorations it has. Is this how it usually is?
I know they had their "tree-lighting" yesterday.

The wind must have blown it over a bit, there's no way they could consider the current angle "normal." I'm sure they'll get it fixed.

Default Crooked Tree

I was by yesterday and I couldn't believe how crooked it is.

(11-30-04) I HAD POSTED A SHOT OF THE CROOKED TREE BUT NOW THE CAM IS BACK ON (12/2...now the web cam is down....)AND THIS BECAME A "LIVE FEED" of the real tree. Looks good to me!

It is usually a very nice tree. We can't see it now because the web cam appears to be down.

Here's a photo from Wolfeboro-on-Line that shows a nice looking tree. Let's Hope the Web Cam is up soon!

That is a beautiful snow covered picture, but I believe that was taken in another year. First of all, we haven't had any snow and second, that isn't what I saw last night. The tree last night only had a few white lights.

Wow, it has many more lights than it did a few days ago. It doesn't seem to be as crooked either. This tree always makes me smile as I go through town.

Default Crooked Tree

Maybe it's one of those trees we seem to end up with every few years at our house - the kind that looks straight from some angles but crooked from other angles! I think these quirks give trees lots of character since thay aren't perfect. Wolfeboro's tree looks great!

I'm chuckling here right now because they finally got the webcam up and running but at the moment....they have forgotten to turn the tree lights on!

Default Part illusion

As Russtic says, the tree isn't perfectly straight in this view; however, no other vertical surface in the picture is either!

It doesn't help that the camera is behind a double-paned window, and a "second, mirrored, set" of christmas lights is reflected between the panes, making the tree appear to lean even more.

It's looking fine.
