Whatever happened to the RT 25 project?

Rt 25 is getting pretty bad. Especially from St Barameo Church to RT 109 in Moultonborough. (The 55mph zone to Center Harbor not so much) Just wondering if those are slated for any skim coating or anything.
I traveled down RT 28 from Wolfeboro to Alton yesterday and noticed that road got skimmed. That road was almost perfect to begin with. Why was that one done and not RT25?

I have noticed the westbound side is taking a beating vs. the east bound, particularly along the area west of Center Harbor. Wonder if all those tractor trailers loaded with bottled water from CG Roxanne in Moultonborough and heading to Rt 93 are taking a toll, especially in the summer when the sun heats the asphalt and it gets softer. The truck traffic on this road is very heavy.

I am sure that the trucks are the cause of most of the problem, exacerbated by NH using a skim coat of asphalt.

New Hampshire has the least amount of highway/interstate roads of any state. Very few roads going west/east east/west. Route 25 is one of them.

Supposedly the Eisenhower Interstate Highway System was to have one highway going from/to every state capital. Route 89 was supposed to go from Concord to Agusta, Maine. But never happened.

Trucks are the culprit. As this country gave up mostly on the train systems. At least in the northeast. From trains transporting goods to neat keen snowmobile trails.

We got logging trucks going to and fro to the wood power plant. We got local earth works dump trucks coming and going every day. We got gasoline trucks, oil trucks, and propane trucks. We got all sorts of delivery trucks delivering dry goods to Coca Cola to beer. CG Roxane is just one of many. Because this plant is actually located here this company has become the pinata of trucking.

It is happening ALL over the state. We never could figure out why all those stimulus dollars went into paving Rt106 which was in perfect shape from Concord to the race track and beyond while Rt107 is at this point a hazard. Although they did waste their time and do a skim coat on a road that is now way beyond the point of skim coating.
Many drivers don’t realize how bad the roads are, but if you get on a motorcycle you quickly realize. From hear to Conway, Waterville, Plymouth it really doesn’t matter which direction you take back roads are all doing down hill and have been for years.
The individual towns seem to be doing little or no maintenance and the state seems to only work on the high profile roads like RT 106.

paving became an easy project as the original stimulus bill projects were suppose to be shovel ready so a lot of paving got done whether it was needed or not . Of course in the end most weren't ready so money was wasted that with a little more foresite money could have been spent better. I live in Moultonboro and we have a project at fox hollow road which was also suppose to be shovel ready but still hasn't started yet.
