Glad you're ok!
Silly question... if you were shoveling the roof, how did something fall down on you? Or were you raking the roof? I did some raking earlier and was knocking down some giant icicles - the Argelets thought it was "cool" and wanted to come out and watch...nnoooooo! ![]() |

Must have been a close one... But, your okay and that's what counts.
Remembering younger days, my Dad was Plant manager when we lived up in Northfield VT. back in the late fifties. They designed and built shipping crates for the Government, along with cedar fencing and other wood products. They even delivered cedar fencing to Superior Fence Company in Tilton NH at the time, down there on Rte 3. One winter there, some ice slid off the roof of the main building and totally flattened a lean to offspring of such that housed air compressors. One of the pieces of ice was gestimated to weigh 3 tons. I have kept some of those images of what can happen under my hardhat whenever near buildings or houses of any kind ever since, winter or no. Lakesrider will ride some more, and so will I... Terry ____________________________________________
