Marine Patrol on Mirror Lake??

My brother is up at the cottage and informed me that the Marine Patrol was on Mirror Lake on Saturday. It seems odd to me that they came over to this little lake during one of the busier weekends on the big lake. Just made me curious as to why they picked this time and place (by the way, as far as I know this was the first and only visit to Mirror Lake this year).

From my understanding, MP officers are assigned areas per county. Therefore the guy your brother saw on Mirror Lake probably never patrols the big lake. The only exception I have heard was bike week. MP monitors correct me if I'm wrong.
