I'm New to Fishing this Area
I'm pretty much a novice around here, but hoping to get out some more this summer on the Squams (Big, Little, & Winni). Would love to know what lures have been successful? Any advice?

Tundra, I was just browsing through the forum and noticed that you are fairly new to posting on the forum and glad you have joined us. Have fun and enjoy the Winni Forum while making many new friends.

A black medium sized hula popper (top water) in May/June after sunset along the shorelines can be a very exciting way to fish for smallmouth.

bitter baits
I used to use live bait all the time but now I use Bitter Baits salty slings with a 2.0 hook (available at AJ's). The small mouth and large mouth love them

Go to AJ's in Meredith. He will give you great advise and sell you anything you are missing.
