cross country skiing in Gilford..

I have noticed big changes in the cross country trails up at Gunstock...wider, smoother and lots of new trails. I hear there may be snowmaking going in for some of them which could be a wonderful addition. Anyone heard about the possibility of a winter triathlon up there too? The trails are awesome for hiking right now even though you have to keep an eye out for the work in progress.

Snowmaking....at Gunstock....on cross country ski trails.....NO WAY.....never happen. Must be something like an old, donated cow manure spreader, loaded wih natural snow, which gets towed down the trail by the horse team of Woodchuck & Bullet.

Giddy-up there horsies....time to spread the trails with old snow from the parking lot.....!
