Default Meredith Public Boardwalk

Here is a link to pictures of the new Boardwalk and docks in Meredith. I was just up there and it is quite an attraction. Meredith will surely be a destination this summer.

Lakes Region Marine Construction is doing the whole project and they continually update there website with new pictures.

Go to www.lakesregionmarine.com, and click on current projects. You will see what it will look like.

Thank you for the pictures. I'm sad to see the wonderful view from The Town Docks restaurant will be blocked by the boat docks. We love sitting outside at the colorful picnic tables.

Thumbs up They call it progress I guess

I guess we just can't stop progress. Every time one turns around something new is taking the place of beauty of the forest and lakes.

Smile The view shouldn't change

I took a (boat ) ride over there Sunday. Unles I'm missing something, the new docks were much further down than the Town Docks patio; the only thing I saw in front of that was the new boardwalk. That shouldn't spoil the admittedly beautiful view!

Default I agree

We bought up at the lake several years ago and I can't believe how much construction has taken place around the lake in this short amount of time. It makes me sad . While the new hotel in Meredith is beautiful and fits right in I think that these small communities around the lake are losing their small town charm. Does anyone else feel this way?
