If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Friday night for the next several weeks, or are just looking for some taste of Americana during these troubled times, head on over to Center Harbor, bring a chair, and listen to the music of the Center Harbor Town Band under the leadership these past ten years of Carlos Martinez. This award winning 138 year old band sounds exceptional, and the view sitting in the gazebo area looking out on the big lake is awe inspiring.

It won't cost you a dime to sit, relax and listen to the music. It's entertainment for the whole family. My wife and I like to grab some food on the go, head over to Center Harbor, eat sandwiches and the like for dinner while watching the show, and when Carlos says goodnight, head on over to Weirs Beach for the fireworks show and a delicious slush. What a way to spend a Friday night!
