Default Winnisquam Ice

Anyone out there with a status? If we get a few inches of snow on Friday I would think Winnisquam would be OK for sledding just stay away from the bridge and inlet from the big lake?

We were up this past weekend and there were plenty of people fishing but I didn't see or hear any sleds or trucks. The bob houses I thought went through the ice were off lake and sitting near the cement plant. I took a walk out and it seemed like at least a foot in most places. The edges did seem a little soft though.

Thanks Rob,

I was there two weeks ago and drilled through 22" of ice, it just does not disappear that fast. It will soften up around the edges but then the big ice cube is just free to move around
