Update 3/1/09: The winnipesaukee.com Ice-Out Guess Contest is closed to new guesses. Guesses are only accepted during the month of February.
Many people sent me guesses by email and I replied to each one with the URL to submit it yourself. The only way to participate was to submit your guess yourself. If your guess does not appear on the Guess Index you are not included in the contest. We've received a record number of guesses this year. Good luck to everyone. Contest Index |

![]() ![]() ![]() It's my wedding anniversary so I use it every year and this year there is like 20 people who jumped on that day. I can't blame you as this year it is in fact going to be the day! Sorry to everyone else who wasted their time posting guesses. It's just a matter of what TIME on the 27th. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have inside information the Al Gore will be delivering a major speech on global warming around the first of April. If that speech goes more that 15 minutes Ice out will be earlier than you think. By my calculations, for every 5 minutes Al speaks past 15 minutes, the hot air created will melt 1 inch of ice. A half hour speech should wipe the lake clear by April 19th.
