I have the Navionics chip in a Lowrance and while it is very good, it is not up to the clarity of the Bizer map. So if the C-Map chip is *just* like the Bizer map as I have heard, the C-Map will be easier to use for pure 'getting around'.
The only 'problem' (if it can be called one) with the C-Map chip is it seems to work in far fewer units than the Navionics. (I could be wrong about that, but that's what it seems like from the check on compatible units I did at the C-Map site) Ken |
