Default Wasps in House-HELP

We live in Moultonborough, new house, moved idn last August. We have had several wasps in our house during the last several weeks. We have screens in every window and all entry doors. I have no idea where these critters are coming from, but last night my husband was stung was sitting in his chair in the loft. Who can we contact to locate and destroy the wasp population ?? Help!

Donna,

You should get an exterminator, sorry I can't recommend one but I'm sure someone will chime in. Look outside your house on a sunny day for wasp or bees flying in and out. They build nests in the walls and can make a mess if not stopped. The exterminators have a powder that they apply with a long tube. I have a guy in Mass. but he won't travel to the lake. The sprays you can buy don't get them when they are deep in the walls. Good luck.

Try Ecological Pest Service
603-279-4810.

We haven't used them for wasps although we just signed on to their seasonal program for all kinds of critter control.

The prior owners of our cottage were kind enough to leave dog fleas in the carpet that was being removed. Eco worked with our schedule of executing the little buggers between old carpet removal and new installation. He even said we probably don't need to do it becasue we have no pets and were getting rid of their carpet home, but for the short money (compared to the cost of the 30 yr old lakefront home), we opted for the peace of mind. So far, so good.

Default Thank you!

I figure they are in the ceiling or walls somewhere... ugh. I gave Eco a call and left a message. We have two cats, so don't want to poison them as part of the program.
