My seemingly annual post...
I'm tempted to start cleaning the screens, windows, and decks today in preparation for the upcoming warm weather (finally!). Dare I hope that the pine pollen is done and has been mostly washed away? Or has the weird weather this year delayed things and I'll just be tempting Mother Nature? |

Agree with the delay. Must add, allergy season has been horrible for many of us this year. Looking forward to better times ahead

On WMUR weather the lowest chance of precipitation from this Saturday through next Friday is 58%.
Sit back and relax. The rain will take care of the pollen. |

The pine pollen over at Ossipee Lake was really bad on Memorial Day Weekend with large yellow clouds of pollen haze over the tops of the pine barrens. I would of thought that that was the worst of it.

I wish! Thanks for the suggestion. But I wash the windows and screens once a year regardless. Just choose to try and time it for right after pollen season. And the decks are covered so the rain doesn't help there.

Conducted my own, non-scientific, experiment. Cleaned glass table top on deck 2 days ago. Still pollen free this AM. Washing starts today. You can expect a return of massive amounts of pollen tomorrow.
